Nebraska Society for Respiratory Care (NSRC) - Online

Several years ago I purchased the Emerson Ventilator that was used for instruction at SECC in Lincoln. I believe it can still be cleaned and brought up to working order. Would like to get it out of my basement. Any takers or ideas of anyone that might like to use it, maybe for a "then and now" display, or something? Also works well for blowing up air mattresses.

Sure JB. If you know anyplace that would take it I'd do what I could to get it too them. I wondered if there were any "Medical Museums"? Not sure if 1960 is old enough for a Museum but that's about my best guess as to when they used these Emersons. Thanks for your response.

Mike, I checked with the antiquities section of the UNMC McGoogan Library and they would love to add the Emerson to the roster of old respiratory equipment that they have been collecting and displaying. Just need a donated by and your name. Jen
